Hi! I’m Abril Cots, a passionate visual storyteller from a small town in Lérida, now based in Barcelona—a city that inspires my creativity and love for authenticity.

People often describe me as sensitive, passionate, and dedicated, qualities that guide my approach to capturing life’s most special moments. For me, creating content goes beyond capturing images—it’s about storytelling.

I aim to uncover the beauty in what often goes unnoticed, approaching each moment from a unique perspective to make it truly one-of-a-kind. People often ask, "How do you see it that way?" My answer is straightforward: "It’s about viewing things through a different lens."

Each project is a journey where I combine creativity with intention, ensuring every detail contributes to the story being told. I’m constantly inspired by the unexpected, embracing spontaneous moments to create visuals that feel alive and genuine. My process is deeply collaborative, working closely with you to capture what truly matters.

KEEP EXPLORING MY STORY…

Much of my learning and vision I gained while working with Miriam from Wed.in.Mint. During that time, I discovered—and continue to discover—the importance of small details and how they can transform a story into something truly special. It was there that I learned to look through different eyes and to value what often goes unnoticed, something that is now fundamental to my way of working.

Years ago, I realized that I couldn't find someone who could capture memories exactly as I imagined them. I was searching for someone who could see the details from the outside, who had that spark to understand what I wanted to preserve in my memory. I never found that person... and then I understood that I had to be that person myself, haha.

A significant part of my vision is influenced by the colors and landscapes of Menorca, a place that holds special meaning for me. I'm also inspired by moments that haven't happened yet—that future image I can envision clearly even before it exists. Fabrics, with their textures and possibilities, are another of my great loves because they allow me to materialize ideas into something tangible. And music, of course, is essential in my creative process; it helps me connect with the unexpected and create something that even I couldn't have anticipated.
